St Annes CC used Rob Ashwell to help us sign Dinuk for the 2009 season. Rob was a great help in making sure all paperwork was completed correctly in order for Dinuk to get over to England as early in the season as possible. As everybody knows it was very difficult to get 2009 Professionals into England . It was thanks to the hard work and knowledge of Rob that we managed to get Dinuk to England and he only missed the first game of the season. Most of the Professionals in the Northern Premier League weren’t able to get in as early as Dinuk and St Annes CC, especially myself and Graham Tindall, really appreciated Rob’s efforts. We had been promised the world by an agent claiming to be the best in the UK, turned out he was trying to get our chosen player into the country illegally and subsequently the player was returned home to NZ. Our club was in dire need of a quality player/coach at the very, very last minute. Hartlepool Cricket Club have played in the NYSD Premier League for over 100 years, and take their cricket very seriously. This years Professional for Hartlepool is Janaka Gunarathna from Sri Lanka.
Robbie has co-ordinated Janaka's agreement of contract and all the extra paperwork involved bringing overseas Pro's into the country this year. Robbie has handled all Club requests very efficiently and effectively throughout, and Hartlepool were fully prepared with their chosen professional in place for the beginning of the 2009 Season.

I first dealt with Rob Ashwell during our 2006 season when as a club we were suffering with a problematic professional via another agency. Rob was fantastic and arranged for our club the services of "Jehan Mubarak" who the week before had been opening the batting for Sri Lanka against England at Lords, as our substitute professional. Such was the relationship and quality of service that "ace cricket exchange" and in particular Rob himself struck up with our club that we returned to him in the close season. We knew exactly what kind of professional we were after for 2007 and with Rob's help and advice we secured the services of "Ranil Dhammika". We could not have asked for better. Ranil was easily the best professional in our division if not the league, and was a fantastic figure head for our club, not just as a player but as a role model for junior and senior players alike. Ranil's performances resulted in Blythe Cricket Club winning our league and ensuring promotion into "division one" of the North Staffordshire and South Cheshire League. This is the single greatest playing achievement in the past 34 years of our clubs history and an achievement that would not of been possible without ace cricket exchange or Rob Ashwell. We did not hesitate to resign Ranil for our 2008 season and are looking forward to it already. Our club has used Ace Cricket / Rob for several years now.
